Hard Hitters for the Kingdom, Inc. and Socks 2 Serve are dedicated to bringing hope to those who feel forgotten and compassion to those facing hardship. We believe every individual deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and the assurance that they are not alone.
Through our Loads of Love Mobile Care Services, we seek to meet practical needs by providing laundry services, hygiene support, and a caring presence. Something as simple as clean clothes can help restore confidence and remind people that they matter.
Our mission is rooted in compassion for individuals experiencing homelessness and others navigating difficult seasons of life. We strive to meet people where they are, offering encouragement, understanding, and meaningful human connection.
Beyond meeting immediate needs, we are committed to providing resources and helping connect people with the support systems that can lead to greater stability and hope. Through collaboration and community partnerships, we work to bridge the gap between need and opportunity.
When faced with adversity, we do not back down, and when opportunities arise, we embrace them. The diverse experiences that have shaped Hard Hitters and Socks 2 Serve continue to fuel our shared vision and inspire us to turn hope into action, one life and one act of compassion at a time.

Our Homeless Response Team Specialists make first contact with individuals on the streets, addressing immediate needs such as hygiene, socks, and food. They help those in acute crises access resources, de-escalate situations, and avoid hospitalization or incarceration, while also creating pathways to long-term stability.
We coordinate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and social services to provide alternative solutions that prevent unnecessary arrests or hospital admissions.
Additionally, our team links individuals to essential resources, including shelters, counseling, addiction treatment, food services, and medical care.
The number of individuals facing housing insecurity in Pima County rose by 20.9%, from 1,372 in 2019 to 1,660 in 2020, highlighting the growing urgency for this project. Furthermore, the January 2023 "Point In Time Count" reported 2,209 individuals were experiencing homelessness, reflecting a concerning 60% increase.
For those without stable housing, access to clean clothing is not just a matter of hygiene—it is a fundamental step in restoring dignity and breaking the cycle of homelessness. By providing consistent services, we can build trust, offering the necessary support to help individuals transition from despair to hope, and ultimately, to stable housing.
Through our growing partnership with the City of Tucson and other community organizations, this "Loads of Love" laundry trailer will play a pivotal role in strengthening local efforts and fostering collaboration in addressing homelessness.
